It's a great place for shareable apps and some N.A. drinks! The black sesame dressing on the salad was the best part of the meal! I can have that salad every single day!! The cauliflower had the most perfect char and the corn was delicious! It was a perfect ambiance to meet the girls for a long awaited reunion and we would definitely return!

Piglet & Co. has long been on my radar since they opened in the Mission, and my first visit exceeded expectations. The decor gives the restaurant a festive yet sophisticated personality - lanterns hanging on the ceiling provide red, moody lighting, and the walls are decorated with what appear to be custom artwork created for Piglet & Co. (pigs and food are key subjects). The dinner menu features a collection of small plates, fermented vegetables, and sides. My group of three ordered: the turnip cake salad with black sesame dressing (I think it was called the Luo Bo Gao?), doubanjiang roasted cauliflower, tomato and egg, street corn, and a side of chili sauce. If I had to choose a favorite dish, I would probably go with the turnip cake salad because the black sesame dressing was sublime and provided a complex flavor profile. My second favorite dish was the egg and tomato, which shocked me because I'm usually not a fan of eggs and tomatoes on their own. This particular dish worked really well because the creamy eggs and the roasted tomatoes sat atop a mound of rice seasoned generously with furikake. The cauliflower had a nice char and plenty of flavor, and the corn was also solid (our server even brought out mini hand towels to clean our fingers after devouring the corn). The three of us were very stuffed and content after our feast, and I am now excited to try Piglet & Co.'s brunch menu.

Nice spot to grab lunch or dinner with a friend and share plates! We got the pork sandwich and wings which was a good amount of food and all around pretty delicious. Idk if I would say its even Taiwanese fusion, the other things on the menu seem more generally Asian fusion. The sandwich was obviously more a Hawaiian vibe

Portions are bigger than you expect. You don't need 4 for 2 people. Shrimp toast is good. 2 pieces but large and I liked the turnip cake salad. Cabbage was blah, wouldn't recommend. Char su pork belly was better than most pork belly but wished I had tried wings. Note they don't have AC if it's a hot day. They open up the wall. Probably wouldn't go again, a bit pricey.
